Jenny Dames

With a passion for creating innovative yet comfortable residential interiors, Jenny relies on her Ryerson education (Bachelor of Interior Design, 2006) and the hustling Toronto environment to enrich her creative development & design process. With an accomplished 5+ years at Sarah Richardson Design Inc., and a recent publication in Canadian House & Home magazine, Jenny continues to thrive in situations involving attention to detail, ground-breaking custom cabinetry design, and seeking out the latest & greatest in the wonderful world of fabrics. The most rewarding part of the custom cabinetry process is re-working a problematic space into an attractive, innovative and useful part of the home; achievable through patience, trust & an open mind! Jenny also strongly believes that interior design & fashion often go hand in hand, thus keeping on top of current street trends creates a youthful understanding on mixing unexpected fabrics, colours and accessories.

With a serious admiration for one-of-a-kind vintage finds, Jenny loves mixing the new & the old, the high & the low, to create a balanced space with solid design credibility. Combine her strong organizational and technical skills with her powerful work ethic, and you can be certain that Jenny will bring each & every project successfully through the finish line. When she's not rushing to the next client meeting, Jenny can be found practicing her grand plie at the National School of Ballet and taking long walks on the beach with her Lab-mix, Rex and her graphic designer boyfriend, Tobin.
