Allison Willson has worked alongside Sarah on both residential design projects and numerous seasons of television production on Sarah's House and, most recently, Sarah 101 (including reluctantly becoming a cast member when season 2 turned the cameras on the design team). With a degree in psychology and over ten years of mentoring from Sarah, Allison has become an integral member of Sarah’s closely-knit design team - having managed the renovation and re-design of many rooms, and becoming an integral part of the design process. Along the way, Allison has learned the recipe for creating a diverse range of beautiful yet well-designed spaces, all while honing in on her own personal style. With a love for fabrics, natural materials, cool colours, warm metals and the need to mix in vintage elements at every opportunity, Allison’s passion for design is all about the perfect mix!
Although decorating is Allison’s biggest passion, renovating and re-designing spaces has quickly become a close second. With traditional details and charm being at the top of her favorites list, breathing a fresh and edgy vibe into the mix is her perfect balance.
Allison’s work has been featured in Canadian House & Home and various design blogs, including spaces designed for private clients, as well as the personal summer home she shares with her husband Tony and son Oliver. When Allison isn’t collaborating with her design colleagues and dreaming up new schemes for her growing client roster, she enjoys lazy summer days with her family and friends up on Balsam Lake, and cozy winter nights in her Toronto home.
