An open display shelf in natural walnut introduces an accent wood tone to the kitchen and provides space to showcase a favourite collection. The shallow box also maximizes the view to the open concept lounge and accentuates the polished marble backsplash as a design feature.
When designing kitchens I often find there's a few extra inches left over. Whenever possible I try to make that space useful and install a floor to ceiling open wine rack that has both decorative and functional appeal.
