All I want for Christmas is...

Posted on Dec 13, 2017

He's making a list and checking it twice, and we want Santa to know we've been extra nice! Here are 16 luxurious giftables we're coveting this holiday season.

ILSE BOWL

Sarah's pick:

Just ask anyone who knows me well and they will tell you that making a Christmas list is something I am TERRIBLE at, so that admittedly makes me extra hard to shop for. There are some brands that have been a constant in my life since I was a child that I still admire and Georg Jensen is definitely one of them. To me they have always represented unique classic modern design and quality. This simple yet elegant bowl has been designed for Jensen by Ilse Crawford who inspires me as a designer (watch her in the docuseries Abstract: The Art of Design on Netflix and you’ll be a fan). I’m also always a champion of independent businesses, and this little beauty comes from my favourite neighbourhood boutique, Hopson Grace.

Buy: $194, Hopson Grace

Celine Wallet

Lindsay's pick:

I've had my eye on this Celine wallet for awhile now. The life of a designer is a busy one, back and forth between meetings and site visits - so I can usually be found carrying just my wallet, dashing in and out of the car grabbing coffee for clients, etc. Since my wallet is often in hand, I think it's time Santa treats me to a classic stunner that will always look good on the run.

Staub French Oven

Laura's pick:

We are cooking at home more and more these days, especially as we dip into cooler temperatures. We’d love to add a Staub French oven to our kitchen. They're beautifully designed and would easily become an instant cooking classic for us!

Buy: $265, Crate & Barrel

Manitobah Mukluks Tipi Moccasins

Natalie's pick:

I plan on spending time relaxing and rejuvenating this holiday and what's better than cozy and chic slippers to lounge the day away in?

Buy: $69.99, Manitobah Mukluks

Kelly Wearstler Floor Lamps

Kate's pick:

I saw this floor lamp while out sourcing for a client and it was love at first site. It’s beautiful and functional, which for me, when those two things meet - it's magic! I am going to be greedy (I have been a really good girl) and say I that would like to have a pair for each side of my sofa.

Buy: $1,050, Kelly Wearstler

Angela Chrusciki Blehm Art

Jennifer's pick:

Adult me wants an Angela Chrusciki Blehm Ribbon painting on wood. I go gaga for these whimsical art pieces. Finding this under the tree would be a Christmas miracle because Angela's work is in high demand, and if the big guy managed to charm his way into having one made just for me, I'd be forever grateful! The kid in me is coveting the Barbie Wonder Woman doll. The new collector's edition is sculpted and costumed just like Gal Gadot's character in the Warner Bros. live-action feature film, Justice League. Just because I'm a grown up doesn't mean Santa can't bring me a new Barbie!

Buy:  Angela Chrusciaki Blehm

Calpak Astyll Rolling Spinner Carry-On Luggage

Allison's pick:

Next to design, travel is my biggest passion. That also unfortunately means my luggage looks a bit beat up sooner then it should. My current luggage is just shy of needing duct tape. This hard surface carry on looks like it can travel with me for a while... and it’s pretty darn cute too!

Buy: $169, Nordstrom

Mini Cinema Elvis Light Box

Rachael's pick:

I came across Mini Cinema at the Toronto One of a Kind Show and became instantly mesmerized. At a distance the art is rather abstract, almost psychedelic. Further inspection reveals archival reels! I love this sentimental nod to the past.

Buy: Mini-Cinema

Four Seasons Gift Cards

Tommy's pick:

Down time!! My favourite thing to receive is a Four Seasons gift card, because on December 31st Patrick and I check in for room service, spa, pool and New Year's Day brunch at Café Boulud. And time spent together at the holidays...that's good too.

Buy: Four Seasons

Wisteria Coffee Table

Tiffany's pick:

I sold my coffee table and being coffee table-less just isn't fun (or pretty). I've had my eye on this one for quite awhile now.

Buy: $1,199, Wisteria

Pineapple Shot Glasses

CeCe's pick:

This pineapple shot glass set would be a great addition to my bar area, fun for entertaining and a fabulous conversation piece!

Buy: $44 (set of 2), Indigo

Hermes Blanket

Nicole's pick:

All I want this holiday season is the classic Hermes Avalon throw blanket in camel. I am dreaming of snuggling up with it in front of a crackling fireplace, with a bowl of popcorn and a great movie.

Buy: $1,600, Hermes

Rimowa Luggage

Ashley's pick:

I'm hoping Santa brings me one of Rimowa’s durable and stylish pieces of carry-on luggage!

Buy: $550, Zappos

Birdies Slippers

Kelsey's pick:

A pair of Birdies slippers is at the top of my wish list! They are as chic as your average loafer but they are way more comfortable! I love that you don't need to compromise style for comfort and they are great to wear while entertaining around the holidays. Your guests will never know you're wearing slippers!

Buy: $140, Birdies

Aarke Sparkling Water Maker

Lindsey's pick:

I am always trying to drink more water. A sparkling water maker is an easy way to make drinking bubbly water at home more affordable. The Aarke model takes up minimal counter space and looks great to boot!

Buy: $199, Aarke

Shannon's pick:

A trip to Italy in 2018! Lake Como here we come! Who knows, maybe we'll run into George Clooney. A gal can dream, right?
