Show & Share: Wreaths

Posted on Dec 10, 2013

We know our website visitors have great ideas, so we’ve designed an exciting new “Show & Share” website feature that will allow me to celebrate your style and creative spirit amongst our community. On a regular basis I will be encouraging my followers on Instagram to post a photo related to a particular theme with the hashtag #showsharesarah, then I’ll review the submissions and share the best results with you.  For our first “Show & Share” article we asked to see how you’ve styled your holiday wreath. The entries were so creative, we couldn't wait to pass along the inspiration for some great ideas for festive and fabulous wreaths. Enjoy!

Melissa from The Sweet Escape wreath

Melissa from The Sweet Escape created this fun, easy-to-make marshmallow wreath; a festive craft project the kids will love.  I like how the marshmallows look like fluffy white snow - only the kind you can eat!

Red is the colour of Christmas, so I couldn't help but notice Karen's red floral wreath with accompanying Noel sign.  The deep red colour set against the white lattice is very striking.

Alex from Northstory

Who knew a couple pairs of work socks could become a festive, Christmas wreath?  Alex from Northstory created this truly inspired 'Canadiana' holiday wreath. Ingenious!

Kristy created this mid century modern wreath and I think its pastel colours and vintage vibe hit the right note for an old-fashioned kind of Christmas.

Pati from Spiral Girl

This arrangement by Pati from Spiral Girl is so natural and elegant; the plush greens adorning those atelier antlers is sophisticated and chic.

Elaine has styled her holiday wreath with a cashmere scarf in place of a traditional bow.  She's definitely got the right idea; best to keep it cozy this winter!

Janelle from Lavenders Flowers

Janelle from Lavenders Flowers shared this gorgeous, textured wreath.  Its feather-like foliage looks bountiful and luxe and creates a warm winter welcome at the front door.

Carrie's wood wreath creation is rustic and warm, and truly a labour of love having received a little help on this project from dad, the "master crafter".
